People First Bank Foundation has marked another year of growth and impact, including more than $500,000 in funding for our charity partners and 668 hours volunteered by People First Bank employees during FY26.

Behind those numbers are people and communities. Our charity partners are providing practical support, hope and new opportunities to Australians facing some of life’s toughest challenges, while the generosity of our people, donors and supporters helps make that work possible.

Additional FY 2026 Highlights

• 42 charities supported – up 31%
• $16,107 matched PFB employee donations
• More than 500 children's books collected for the Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation through our Community at Heart Appeal
• $169,500 donated through our Sub-Fund to charities making a difference across Australia
• Our first multi-year grant, $50,000 per year for three years to the Foyer Foundation, with the funding already supporting 44 young people across the Foyer network
• An additional $32,335 raised for Backpacks 4 SA Kids through our annual fundraising lunch
• Our first multi-charity collaboration grant through the Weis Community Fund, investing $40,000 per year for three years to support 12 charities across the Darling Downs

Significant milestones across the life of the Foundation

• More than $1.5 million total funding provided to our charity partners
• More than 1,000 mobile phones collected through People First Bank branches for DV Safe Phone, helping people experiencing domestic and family violence stay connected and safe
• Our people volunteered more than 1,900 employee hours, giving their time and skills to support Foundation charity partners

None of this happens alone. Thank you to our charity partners for the work done every day, and to our volunteers, donors and supporters who continue to get behind the Foundation and the communities it serves.

People First Bank’s ongoing partnership also makes the Foundations model possible. By funding the Foundation's operating costs, the Bank ensures every dollar donated by our supporters goes directly to our charity partners. Our people build on that support through volunteering, fundraising, advocacy and community support to deliver life-changing outcomes for the communities they serve.
